I was supposed to post this yesterday. My bad. Eventually (i.e. next week, maybe), I’ll re-start writing long entries for Music Monday (pretty sure I made this promise two weeks ago, but this time I mean it).
Until then, here is a new song that I’m completely obsessed with:
Andrew McMahon (of Something Corporate/Jack’s Mannequin) has been releasing solo material for the past 2-3 years. This is his latest song, and it was written for/about his 6-month old daughter, Cecilia.
It’s one of the cutest songs I’ve ever heard and it kind of makes me emotional but in the best way possible. When I see Andrew plays this live in November, I will probably sob.
